All day, every show, they worry and fret about abortion.
Lord, please. There’s plenty of birth control out there, daily pills, some kind of IUD thing you don’t even have to deal with. There’s even a day after pill for God’s sake.
This fact should make the vast majority of abortions not necessary.
Folks, abortion will NEVER, not EVER, be made illegal in this country.
It could, and should, come down to at the very least, some kind of limit, like six months not beyond. If a woman doesn’t have an abortion by five or six months...well why not?
But to ban abortion.....never work. One woman will get pregnant by a rape-or lie about it. Another woman will die from a back alley abortion.....
....it’s not going to change and all those arguments on talk show today are a waste of time.
Abortion SHOULD BE something that happens rarely.
Unfortunately, let’s not fool ourselves here, too many females use abortion as a form of birth control.

Pissing me off beyond measure. Getting ready to just throw my TV out at this point. It's the only thing I bother turning my TV on for anymore. My TV is on less than two hours a week at this point and why do I even need it?

Abortion is a state's rights issue, not federal. There's no actual basis for it in the US Constitution.
But there is no American right anywhere to kill babies.

rod, you may remember this, although it's been many years since I posted it. This is mainly for patriotspride's benefit. I'm a history buff, especially archaeology, and I came across this tidbit back in the 1990's.
In the mid-1800's a British expedition discovered the location of the ancient Assyrian capital, Ninevah. They also found the library of one of their greatest kings, Assurbanipal, consisting of thousands of clay tablets, inscribed with cuineform script, which they carted off back to the basement of the British Museum in England.
Some tablets were translated, but most were ignored for the next hundred years. Finally, a researcher stumbled upon one which, for some unknown reason, caught his eye. It was written in Akkadian cunieform dated about 1800 B.C. What it said was this:
"The gods(God) do/does not subtract from a man's life the hours spent in fishing."
The Lesson would seem to be, from 4000 years ago, whenever you question whether you should go fishing today, you have it on the Highest Authority that it's okay!

It’s not that I don’t think it should be made illegal and yes, it is a state issue although the Supreme court ruled on it once in case you don’t remember.
NEVER, will it be made illegal again. Just last month Ireland made abortion legal.

Yes. I listened to Rush all this week.
He’s on Youtube. Just search him out. The three hours are reduced down to about 1 hour 45 minutes or so, as all of the commercials and news/traffic/weather is filtered out. It’s just Rush.
I listen every evening. When he goes on about golf or cigars, or Life-lock, I just skip ahead a little!
