YGTBSM - AGAIN, but US ignore the obvious! Somewhere on the bottom line, amid the fine print, is the undeniable fact that illegals are Mexico’s problem, not the United States. Yet the US solution to illegal immigration is akin to an individual assuming the debt of a spendthrift, irresponsible stranger. A stranger who could give a f**t in a whirlwind as their unabated debt continues to accrue.

It is coming from some laws and a lot of court decisions. This ends “catch and release” and that’s why the Progs have their panties all twisted up. They can’t say that they want C&R so they latched on to the families thing. Now Trump will put the families together in a “victory” for the Progs while still ending C&R.

Many court rulings over many years, along with lefty lawyers coaching illegals how to game our system. The result of all of that is few illegals can simply be deported immediately. They all request immigration hearings, knowing they will lose. They all claim asylum, knowing only a handful qualify. This has all been put in place by the left to gum up the works, make it nearly impossible to enforce our immigration laws and force us to have open borders.
President Trump is trying his best to keep illegals detained and not simply release them know they won’t show up for a hearing. Under our present system it is very hard to keep illegals detained. There was a court ruling that they can be detained but many other rulings over the years say this one and that one must be released after XXX days...
I am sure President Trump is doing his best to figure out legal ways to simply deport illegals. It will be a legal mine field no matter what he does. The left has had many years to make sure of that.
This is not on President Trump, this is on the left that has many court rulings over many years and lefty lawyers coaching illegals to say the right words to game our system.
President Trump is doing his best to follow the law, and enforce immigration laws. The left has put up roadblocks over the years to force release of illegals into our country for a legal process; force this country to have open borders.
This is on the left, and on us for ignoring and allowing all their shenanigans all these years that have led us to this.
President Trump is wading in legal quicksand to try to enforce our laws and he needs our support. It is the least we can do since we did nothing to keep the left from doing all of this.
Yes, we need to get on the backs of our Congress critters to make some changes in this mess- that is one thing that needs to happen for sure.
We also need to stop processing asylum cases anywhere except at our consulates out of the country. Having mass numbers of people that will not qualify swarm the border for asylum is ridiculous. Illegals being detained here in the U.S. after crossing illegally are also claiming asylum when they are caught. That is also ridiculous.

We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. Our system is a mockery to good immigration policy and Law and Order. Most children come without parents...
