Democrats:

Oh for the days of the great depression, WPA, TVA and all those great government programs. Why can’t we go back to 25% unemployment? I mean, 1936 was a great year!!

The Democrat Party has now gone so far off the rails as to be living on some planet in another galaxy.

You’d think they are purposely trying to lose more seats in Congress.

If this sort of insane commentary is the Democrat plan for generating a “blue wave,” then I can barely wait for November red tsunami that is going to sink their party for good.

Yeah, “reckless”... because EVERYONE knows that putting people back to work, giving them the ability to put FOOD ON THE TABLE and provide for their families is “reckless”...

I agree. Keep talking, you feckless democrat morons. Use a bullhorn and amplifier too.

Because it’s really really really really working.

This has to be a response to recent polls saying that working families identify with Trump and Republicans. Feeble attempt.

Reckless and dangerous are two trip words the rats used to describe President Reagan’s good plans.

That scared their FDR Depression voters and FDR’s war party voters.

Doesn’t work now as those poor voters are dead and gone except in Philly,NYC, Baltimore, Chicago and LA. They may be dead, but they are still voting democratic.

I know...my first paying job (besides newspaper boy and my own car washing and lawn mowing) was on a small Navy base, and my job that summer was to empty the 55 gallon drums full of trash at the base picnic grounds from the weekend parties held down there.

It was awful. All those hamburgers, chicken, and God knows what else with half full beer cans all marinating and stewing in the hot, humid sun for a couple of days made for a disgusting concoction. I had to roll them over to a dumpster, and muscle them up to the edge and tilt them in. Often, they were so heavy the only way was to do a bear hug on them to get them high enough, and all the nasty stuff inside would leak all over my chest.

And...the flies and yellow jackets...that job was NOT worth the money they paid!

It worries me every time I hear about the “tight labor market” where they “can’t find ‘qualified’ people to do the jobs” because I fear they will use it as an excuse why we need infinity foreigners.

They used the same d@mn excuse when millions were unemployed under ObaMao. They simply rephrase the excuse to a mismatch of skill sets or something like that. Even though many of these jobs take about one week of training or less.

The Japanese have a far simpler requirement-- businesses can basically import all the foreign workers they want (with a routine visa check to weed out criminals, the clearly unqualified, etc.). Their key requirements is that said foreigners be paid at least 10% over the going wage for a Japanese doing a similar job.

It is absolutely amazing how such a simple requirement like that cuts down on said demand. Funny thing is that it benefits the Japanese in the industry as well by (a)raising the general wage level and (b)increasing the supply of those going into that profession.

Case in point is that stock and bond traders were almost 40% foreign workers in the halcyon days of the mid to late 1980s. Today, it is less than 10%-- still 10x the concentration of foreign workers but less than 1/4th of what it was.

“We now live in some kind of upside down bizarro world where Democrats hate Russians, hate Communist dedicators, love NATO, love trade deals and hate labor.”

More Examples of the best election ever held, and we are just beginning!

A good jobs report indicates a constituency loss for Democrats.

"I’ve already seen this process stultified in the tech world with H1Bs about which the employers don’t care if they ever advance, only that they can fill a skill set NOW."

Yep, but hire the ones whose engrish is limited just enough so that they literally cannot become program managers and leave by stepping up the ladder.
