Russia helped start the second one by joining with Germany to take Poland. They got burned by their Nazi allies later but they did make the pact to get the ball rolling.

Not to mention by supporting all the communists in Germany that undermined the Republic... and their violence provided the ‘justification’ for the rise of the Nazis ...same way the Russians supported violent groups here to demonstrate and riot and burn down businesses in the hopes of making our government look ineffective.

Trump’s not against NATO, he just plans to straighten it out.

Take a look at this:

May 2, 2018 - Struggling Russia cuts military spending — and it could weaken its forces worldwide

Russia dropped to fourth place in the ranking of the world's biggest military spenders, overtaken by Saudi Arabia.

Russia didn’t order France to impose the Treaty of Versailles on Germany (laying the groundworks for WWII), didn’t order France to cave in when German forces remilitarised the Rhineland.

It was funny. Poland was the first country to sign the Non Aggression Pact with Hitler’s Germany.

The EU saw tons of contracts and profits to be made, by getting Iran to this Obama treaty. After they reached their treaty, I read a business report from Germany which estimated over a five-year period...various EU companies were probably set to make 150 billion Euro.

From their prospective, it was the first big chance to grow a massive customer, and meant jobs/cash for the EU countries.

Trump saw two problems. First, the nuke stuff didn’t really stop (you just pretended it would), and second...the people of Iran were still being screwed over by the leadership of the country (the Mullahs).

Here’s the thing...the banks in Iran are all in failure mode. Private businessmen (the big guys and the small guys), are taking their Iranian Rials, and converting to Euro or dollars, and then finding some way to transfer the money into mideast neighbors (mostly Dubai). They aren’t of the mind of believing the Iranian banks will survive.

If you look at general business reports, there is strong speculation that various marginal Iranian banks are talking mergers with other marginal banks...to survive out 2018. Go and talk mortgages with Iranian banks, as a 30-year old guy, and it’s a rough business to find a bank willing to front your home purchase. The black-market exchange for Rials? Widely different from the official rate, and each month expands more.

I think Trump realizes that if no one helps save the Iran banks...they probably will fail within two years...collapsing and causing a revolution, with the Mullahs responsible for the mess. The EU doesn’t want to go with that stance.

Well you know they had to support Islamic terrorist groups like the KLA and bomb the Serbs over a bunch of mass graves that turned out to be lies.

Guessing that made them feel functional. Scum.

This is a tweet from RT.COM right now. Haven’t been able to verify it yet.

‘Germany totally controlled by Russia’ – Trump unhappy US has to pay ‘billions of dollars’ for ‘protecting allies from Russia’ while Berlin pays Moscow for gas

Pretty sure they were waiting in Tbilisi for Russian tanks, however. And that was why they didn’t keep going to Tbilisi.

So I give NATO credit for that.

The Europhile’s logic is queer: Europeans make NATO get stronger by being reluctant to afford more spending.

Why can’t we just make our 2% contribution like everyone else?

NATO was established to fight against the Soviet Union-which is gone!

This is why we needed Trump, the Establishment never wants to end anything!

Their reluctance though....is that they really don’t have cash bucket sitting around with billions of Euro existing. In the case of Germany, there’s an infrastructure problem existing where roads, bridges, and public buildings require X-amount of cash per year. The cost of poverty escalates each year. The various social promises made by each party, in each German state....requires a cash infusion to work (like promising more childcare seats or lessening the cost of that childcare).

Then you add on this BREXIT cost. The EU basically said it won’t be cutting its budget....so without the Brits around, the EU need the more wealthy EU countries to make up the loss. So the Germans need to find tens of billions of Euro over the next decade....which some of it will come back to Germany in the form of special grants...some will pay for EU costs....and some will go to the poverty nations of the EU.

When they (the NATO bosses) made up this 2-percent rule, they really opened up a big mess. The US should have made a decision a decade ago to cut 50-percent of it’s mission in Europe, and eventually leave completely by this point.

US senators choosing people that aren’t US citizens. Should I be surprised?

Pres Trump is busy trying to fix the mess he inherited. And congress wants to stay in an obama apologetic subservient mode. How to make them proud Americans in spite of their stupidity!

Russia also didn’t order France and Britain to betray Czechoslovakia by signing the Munich pact. The Germans would not have defeated the Czechs in a 4 week Blitzkreig like in Poland if Hitler had attacked them in 1938. The gutless French and British could have defeated Hitler in 1938-1939.

NATO is simply a mechanism for the U.S. to maintain a permanent military presence in Europe. It’s not there to defend against anything.

Then why the need for a military presence in Europe?

Russia is always a threat...always.

But apparently not a big enough threat to justify our continuing to defend against them.

Might as well have tablets of these printed up:

Lawmakers on ______ overwhelmingly voted in favor of a motion supporting ______, as President Trump continues to criticize ______ ahead of his ______ in ______.

Just doing my part to help the world's greatest deliberative body save time and money better spent on themselves. As long as the blank spaces are big enough for the geriatrics and Cantwells/Gillibrands/Harrises to scrawl with crayons, it's golden.
