A couple of years at least since the last Papa John’s.
I have a couple of small chains and a Pizza Hut within a block of me.

So he loosely quotes someone and the media is in a tizzy.

Papa John: "Let me tell some stories about how terrible other people are so I can signal how superior and virtuous I am."
Listeners: "Gasp! The fact that he tells those stories proves he's worse then they were!"

What a crock of poo poo. It astounds me that something like this is even reported as “news”.

The founder also reportedly said that when he was growing up in Indiana, people would drag black people from trucks until they died. Was this an everyday occurrence in Indiana? Like the black churches being burned that Bill Clinton talked about?
Or is he just remembering the single instance of James Byrd in Texas?

Like the guy at Netflix who was listing words that ought to be censored . . . and neglected to censor the words he himself was saying.

So, he isn't even allowed to make a point. The Left has lost their minds.

So? He quoted someone?? What was the intent, you idiots at Forbes? It was a quote. FUFORBES

Colonel Sanders called blacks n-----s, Schnatter reportedly said on the callThe language was ill advised, but that wasn't a racial slur. That was a reference to a slur made by another to make a point.

“So, he isn’t even allowed to make a point. The Left has lost their minds.”
There is no Left in the story, there is no Right in the story.
He used the N-Word and a marketing company cut ties with Papa John’s.
Nothing liberal or conservative, just a business decision.

Once you are on the left’s naughty list, anything you say can and will be used against you. Conversely, if you are on the nice list, anything you say can and will be excused.

Looks to me like the Papa John’s board simply wanted him out, and used the “racist slur” BS to frame him.

Why would someone have a problem with someone else saying that. Is it true?
These reporters are really pulling out all the stops in trying to get people offended. They really do remind me of that guy in “The Jerk” yelling, “But he’s not carnival personell!”

A marketing company cutting ties with Papa Johns is news, and should be reported.
