It’s one thing to protest; quite another to violate air space and approach so dangerously close with unsearchable equipment. It may have caused an international incident, but I would rather have had this man shot down at a distance than to have our president endangered. Next time, an actual weapon could be deployed since they know we won’t shoot if they are “protesting”.
I am thoroughly disgusted with the level and amount of acerbic and RUDE behavior leveled at Trump at all levels on his visit to UK. President Trump, do not go back! They are not worthy of our money nor help.
I disagree, I think Trump has more supporters in Britain than people think, but they’ve been intimated into silence. Hopefully by Trump visiting, they will feel more empowered to speak up.

That was a big point of the sequel to Trainspotting. I don’t even know if it was the point, but it was shocking to see how the country had changed in the twenty years between films. The first was kind of an indictment of the Scottish welfare system, and everyone was Scottish. In the second one, it seemed like almost everyone he encountered was Indian, Eastern European, anything but Scottish.
The guy flew within a few yards of heavily armed British and American police / security services - and they ask for the help of the public to catch him! You couldn’t make it up!
I really pray that Trump gets home safely because I think the local security especially are just a bunch of clowns.
