Boomer aka Schumer: Longs For Glory Days When America, Russia Nearly Blew Up Entire World! (Babylon Bee humor)
Babylon Bee ^ | July 16, 2018 | Babylon Bee

CAPE CORAL, FL—After watching news coverage of a summit held between United States president Donald Trump and Russian president Vladimir Putin, local baby boomer Hank Valentino began to reminisce about the “glory days” when the two nations very nearly destroyed the entire world with nuclear weapons.

The man was reportedly disappointed that the summit failed to result in a declaration of war between the two countries.

“Back in my day, we threatened to nuke each other into glowing ashes almost constantly, and you know what? We liked it,” he said. “In every movie you watched, the U.S.S.R. was the enemy, the way God intended it. I’ve learned to hate Russians all through my whole life, and I’m not about to stop now.”

The man also complained about “kids these days” who haven’t so much as thought about starting a world war, stating that they’re too busy on their “iGizmos and what-not” to put too much effort into rekindling the flames of the Cold War.

On reading news reports that Russian operatives had attempted to influence the United States’ elections, he shook his head. “In my day, Russian spies infiltrated our country in order to blow us up, not mess with a few votes here and there. And we wouldn’t have taken that kind of guff from them, either—we’da blown up the whole planet, just because we could.”

Demand that Trump insists the 12 Russians named in last week's indictment be sent to the U.S. to stand trial.

Right. What a buffoon.

Push through bipartisan legislation for election security to prevent future election interference.

More laws, that's the ticket. That's the same stupid and muddled thinking that believes the 100,000th gun control law will finally end murder for all time.

Those indictments were nothing but a political stunt.

I agree with this one.

>>>Push through bipartisan legislation for election security to prevent future election interference.<<<

1. Proof of American Citizenship when you Register to Vote.

2. Photo ID required when you show up at the Polling Place.

3. Purging Voter Rolls of Deceased Voters and those who are convicted of Felonies six Months before an Election is scheduled.

4. Tightening standards for those who want to submit Absentee Ballots including a requirement that the Voter has to apply for Absentee Status before every Election.

5. Ending Motor Voter.

6. Automatic Criminal Sentence of Ten Years in Prison and a $100,000 Fine for anyone caught fraudulently Voting in an Election.

7. Double the Prison Time and Fine for anyone involved in a Conspiracy to commit Voter Fraud.

8. Guarantee that ALL Overseas Military Ballots are counted. (the only exception to #9 below)

9. End early Voting and make Election Day the only day to cast a Ballot.

10. Ban all electronic Voter Machines.

Those damn Russians tricked millions of us to vote for president Trump and we didn’t even notice. Why else would so many Americans vote against Hillary the great. She rode to power on Bill’s diseased penis and her vibrator. She has so many qualifications that I can’t name one.

**Push through bipartisan legislation for election security to prevent future election interference.**
*One-step election rigging.*

Chuckie the spinmeister needs to resign. He can’t remember from one week to the next what he says. 4 weeks ago, he blamed Comey for Trump’s win. Now he’s back to using Russia? So how’s he going to prevent future election interference from players in our own government?

He wants to rewrite election laws for the little people using Russia as the excuse, but here’s the idiot implying that since Trump won, because of Comey, the ‘complaints’ about the FBI&Co were of no consequence. Excuse my lack of confidence that our elections are safer in the hands of feds like Schumer:

“Schumer stated, “Did Director Comey, the FBI, and DOJ handle the public aspects of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email correctly? Of course not. We Democrats said that then. The inspector general makes it clear now. But Director Comey’s mishandling of the publicity around the Clinton email campaign all accrued to the benefit of then-candidate Trump, not the other way around. It was Trump who benefitted from all these mistakes. So, it hardly reflects deep state or bias against him.”
He added, “Donald Trump won that election, so the complaints about the FBI and Jim Comey and all the rest don’t lead anywhere. At the end of the day, the actions reviewed in this report helped Donald Trump win the election, not the other way around.”

Substance is irrelevant to the left.

What matters is "resist." (Virtue-signaling.)
