Liberal Democrats (but then, I repeat myself) through their childish tantrums are revealing themselves as the walking cesspools that they are. These disappointed ladies should be grateful that they are learning this now and not wasting their time on trash.
DC has always been a tough dating scene for women; too many high quality women, too few males, and even fewer of those are men. Marriageable women in DC are quietly desperate to find a suitable mate. And now that the illusion of suitability is being dropped by liberal males, the single women of DC are encountering the reality of an almost nonexistent pool of men.
Don't give up, just give up on long-term relationships. Obviously, since they're largely a bunch of leftists, they are guillible and easily misled. Thanks Libloather.

And if the young people didn't meet other young people who want to date, they might meet older people who could help them in their careers. Or they might worship God, discover a mission, get the opportunity to sing or play an instrument, etc.

Times have changed. Full disclosure: I am 68 years old (an aging boomer), Jewish, and as happily married as can be.
When I was single and in my forties, there must have been a shortage of straight, single, Jewish men in the cities of the northeast. I’m not that attractive, yet I was figuratively speaking dragged into bed by single women in Philly, and DC, both about a hundred miles away, Baltimore, which is about 50 miles away, even New York, 200 miles away.
I usually got the boot when they found out how anti-big government I was. (or maybe I was a lousy lover).
I still can’t figure out what she sees in me, but I met the woman of my dreams about 17 years ago, and have been happily married to her for 15 years. I do not recommend my former lifestyle, especially for those involved in government and politics, especially in this day and age of camera phones under every pillow. I was self employed, so I didn’t care what anyone but friends and clients thought of me.
My advice - the same as the advice my dad always gave me - be careful.
