If they LIED on their applications, they are NOT “Legal” immigrants, they are illegal, fraudulent immigrants.
Remember Demjanjuk or Rinkel? Both deported after 40+ years in the US, having achieved “legal” immigrant status, but having lied about their pasts.

But the article also says the administration is reviewing applications of people who they suspect lied on their applications. So lying to get into the US is “doing things the right way,” in the immigration attorneys community.
It would be great if that nut job that scaled and shut down the statue of liberty over the July 4th holiday fell into this bucket.

Lies on immigration and naturalization papers often orginate with the lawyers and immigration consultants. Some of them are far worse than the immigrants they take advantage of.
Focus on undesirables:
1) Terrorist sympathizers and terrorists, regardless of status or anything else.
2) Murderers, rapists, thieves, DUI drivers
3) Welfare parasites. No immigrant should receive any type of welfare, including EITC, Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, etc. We should not be creating a new underclass.
4) everify is dangerous. Once we let the government private employers who they can and cannot hire we are heading for trouble and unintended consequences.
5) Immigrants of any status who work and take care of their families should not be the focus. Ignore them, except to verify that they are not in one of the 3 categories of undesireables.
I suggest 10% or about 1.2 million illegals are undesireable. When that 1.2 million undesirables have been removed, let me know and I will reassess my position.
