It’s like everybody in the media being so worried about North Korean artillery hitting Seoul. Do they think that after 68 years the ROKs and US don’t have counterbattery fire and other ways to suppress the North’s cannons? We surely have plans in place to defend Qatar, Dubai, Jeddah, and other strategic places.

Oh, of course. I expect between the various Patriot versions and in case we have THAAD and some possible SMIII-supplied ships in the area.
Still, given that they’re Muslims, suicide boats against naval assets would be something I’d be wary of.
I’m sure they’re looking at all the scenarios.
