She’s now trending nationally as a result of this interview, but the libs are still bashing her.
Look, I support the Ted Cruz bill regarding this issue as I would like to see families stay together. That said, there were a lot of lies about the separation policy which her comments didn’t help to rectify.
There’s no doubt the Administration botched it, though. They should have had warnings a couple months before down in Central America, signs and speakers near the border telling people to not cross illegally but go to checkpoints or they could be separated, children and parents should have had regular phone contact, and the reunification should have been immediate when they were deported or released. No one properly explained it and let lies stand about children in cages w/out mentioning it happened under Obama, didn’t explain it in terms of separation like American parents are separated when they break the law and go to jail, didn’t explain the sheer number of people crossing illegally at that time, didn’t explain how children are trafficked and how the previous (now current again) policy enabled smugglers, didn’t explain the Flores settlement, etc. They gave the media the narrative on it, and what is the end result? A gifted Democrat PR hit and the Administration buckling and going right back to the same policy without even doing something like the Cruz bill Disaster.
I understand if she doesn’t like the term “enemy of the people”, but the press has been terrible to her father so to contradict him on that isn’t right. All she has to do is turn on CNN, MSNBC, and read the NYT, the WaPo, the blue check marked journalists on Twitter, etc. to see the disdain they have for her father. All they do is trash him, and they do it sometimes via cherry picking quotes, sensationalized headlines, opinion as fact, and sometimes lies. They have compared her father to Hitler, called him a racist, called him a traitor, and their reporting has led to attacks against her family, his staff, and his supporters.
I cringe whenever I see Ivanka being towed around and involved in so many things. I hope she’s not being groomed to run for president. I don’t trust her judgment. At all.

Their parents already separated their children from grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, familiar surroundings, culture, language. Seems we care more than they do about family whom they not only abandoned far, far away, but ripped their kids from. Stay in your country. Fix it. Don’t run away from it.

Liberals think placing children with homosexual couples as foster and adoptive parents is normal and healthy, and anyone who disagrees should be excluded from any participation in these processes.

except when it comes to caring for the children being brought across the border in a manner clearly intended to avoid legal ports of entry.
In the minds of liberals, America is far too unsafe to be entrusted with the care of these children. It simply is not possible to provide safe shelter long enough to investigate the criminal adult smugglers who endangered these children by sneaking them over our borders.
These adults should be charged with felony child endangerment unless they were literally fleeing for their lives. And fleeing from some country in South America, through Central America, to reach North America, does NOT constitute an imminent threat. If it were imminent, they would have presented themselves to the Mexican government or some other government. Instead, they want the benefits and privileges of living in the U.S.A. but they are unwilling to go through the legal process.
