It was a close race in Ohio. DU thinks that if the Green party would have stayed out of the race that the Democrat would have won. Final results showed that the Republican still would have won.

There was an election in Ohio tonight - NOT a primary - to fill an open House of Representatives seat (OH-12).

It was a razor thin race, and the Republican looks to win by 1800 votes or so. The Green Party candidate won about 1100 or so votes.

NO! NO! NO! If the Greens hadn't been in it then not only would the democrats have gotten all their votes, but all the democrats that voted Republican to spite family members voting Green would have voted democrat, too!
