I don't think anyone knew those accounts existed until Manafort used foreign bank drafts to pay for his suits, for home renovations, and some other things.
As a tax cheat, Manafort was a complete moron.
Large foreign bank drafts paid into USA accounts that do almost no international business would have been reported INSTANTLY to the U.S. Treasury Department!

Not saying it is right-but I know more than one person-customers, friends, etc-who have lied on loan apps-even if caught, they weren’t charged with any crime or even fined...

Since this is about Uncle Sam not getting his just due, a deal could be made where Manafort coughs up his taxes and everyone is happy... except for Mueller.
