Um, Mr. Bialosky - you need to check again. Mr. Will is a weak tea supporter of the Second Amendment, if at all. And I'm no fan of Bill Bennett, also mentioned in this article for his idiotic support of an "assault weapons" ban years ago. Eff 'em both.

His stated reason for giving control of both chambers of Congress to the Dems is to pass legislation stopping Trump from imposing tariffs. He claims Congress is not fullfilling their Constitutional duty by blocking him, which is extremely dubious in itself. This is simply not a believable reason. It would not withstand a Trump veto. Quite a few Democrats would not vote for it. I conclude he’s not telling us his real reason.
He acknowledges the Dems taking over the Senate would prevent judges from being approved, and he voices no disapproval of Trump’s judicial picks. The now nakedly political behavior of Democrat appointed justices, which anyone who values the Constitution would find alarming, would be abetted by a Democrat takeover of the Senate.
Something very strange indeed is going on with Will - but then all the Never Trumpers are very strange. Something about Trump winning has caused them to come unglued.
