With all the things contrary to common decency Ellison has done, I find this episode believable. Nevertheless, it means zip without the evidence. In the press, it may mean zip even if there is evidence.

Without the evidence, it's just a smear that becomes a lie. It was hard evidence that did Franken in.

You have to be a Republican to have accusations become real events even if the evidence points elsewhere.
