To me, this is part and parcel of everything wrong with congress. Why should we be naming bills, roads, buildings and other things after people who are supposed to be part-time civil servants in the first place? Do your job, go home and quit expecting accolades for doing what should essentially be stewardship of THE PEOPLE’S MONEY... not yours.

McCain was always a neocon warmonger. He and girlfriend Linda Graham. Once soldier became a veteran McCain despised him. I honestly can’t remember one veterans spending bill he supported. Trump has called him out many times on the shameful way he treated veterans during his entire tenure in the senate. CNN and the rest of the lib channels love him now after hating him for years for one reason. He’s a certified Trump hater who would sell out his own country if it meant making Trump look bad. By the way the only difference between McCain and Romney is their age. Both are class A SOBs, who basically hate Trump for one reason. He called them both losers, which they are. What a jackass the writer, Betsy Klein is. So Trump didn’t mention McCain, he doesn’t deserve mention. And, why the H would he thank him. McCain had done nothing in the last two or more year worth thanking him for. If McCain had any characterl, he would resign and let someone else represent Arizona, someone who wasn’t close to room temperature and could actually participate. But for McCain, it is all about McCain. However, that is what one expects from the likes of CNN and it’s leftist/democrat writers.
