I have no idea what Jesus would do. I DO, however, know that the baker was chosen to bake this particular cake for the same reason he was chosen to bake the cake for the homo couple - because he was a Christian. Now, I am not - but I absolutely do not think that he (or anyone else) should be persecuted in this way just because of his beliefs. So, you have to ask the people that ARE persecuting him the same question. They could, after all, have gone to just about any other baker to get the same cake baked...but they chose HIM.
I think that you misunderstood me. I’m not talking about the baker, Mr. Phillips. I’m talking about the lawyer who asked him to bake a cake for his “transition.” I want to thank HIM, because even though he’s causing a lot of trouble for Mr. Phillips, precedent is going to be made (based on the prior precedent for the homo cake) that prohibits ANYONE from being forced to do something for another person in this manner.
Here’s the language in the article, to which my comment was directed:
“...an attorney requested he create a cake that was pink on the inside and blue on the outside to represent a gender transition from male to female. As a Christian, Mr. Phillips would not make the cake since it conflicted with his beliefs, which was his same reasoning for refusing to bake the same-sex couples wedding cake. The state of Colorado has come after Mr. Phillips again, suggesting state law requires him to bake the gender change cake.”
He should sue the state of Colorado for harassment!! They are harassing him. A transgendered cake? Who will visit next a pedophile to ask him to bake a cake to celebrate pedophilia? Hope he’ll sue...
It wasn't random.
Wonder why they don't try muslim run bakeries?/sarc
