I am sure you Pop was a wonderful and brave man. The Japanese really treated our prisoners horribly. Torcher, beating and starved to death. I hold all the WWII prisoners and the Nam era guys in high esteem. But, we really cannot know what they did to McScream. He may have even been something like hypnotized by beatings and toucher. We who were not there cannot know. I remember Admiral Jeremiah Denton, who was a US Senator from Alabama later after his service, was also a POW in Nam. They did a TV movie about him, I think Hal Holbrook played Denton. He really was put through the ringer. He had his arms tied behind his back and then he was lifted up by his arms off the ground and all his weight was on his arms tied in the back. He was put in a chair on top of a table and kicked off the table onto the floor. He suffered terribly. That story was from the few things Denton told them what the Reds put him through. I know you have fond memories of you Dad. I am sure he was a brave man. All who go in harms way are brave. I was in Nam. I was wounded there and spent 4 months plus in Army hospital. Rehab took a year before I could even run again. Combat, prisoners of war, etc., it is all hell.
No, I am not stupid jackass. I can see you know absolutely nothing about war or POW’s except what you read in Sergeant Rock comic books.

You appear to be truly stupid since you failed to read my post TWICE before typing in the proof of your stupidity. So, are you offended because I said that I would NOT criticize a POW? Because that’s what I said twice and you still seem to be confused.
I don’t think Sergeant Rock was ever a POW. He rescued POWs. Like Chuck Norris.
