The lunacy of foreign aid, especially to countries that hate us, has to stop. IIRC, a few years ago, we were borrowing money from china to give to pakistan so the pakistanis could turn around and buy chinese subs.

Trump is a business man and expects a return on investment. I expect there is zero return on money sent to the Palestinians, and near zero return on money sent to the UN. Obama only knew affirmative action. That was his entire life, from Punahou on. So ending money to people like this made sense to him.

The hard part for them, once they have included all of Jordon and Israel, is how much of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Iran to claim.

Direct aid is not much more than that. But that doesn’t include aid through the UN. US gives UN over $3 billion per year. Much of that, including almost all the US gives to the UNRWA, ends up in PA hands. That’s by design to give cover to US politicians. And note that the US provides military aid to the PA that’s buried in DoD budgets and not included in other totals.
Go back for the past forty years....literally billions and billions given. Where is there evidence of society progressing? It’s basically a middle-east creation of inner-city Chicago.
It’s about time! Funding terrorism is a bad idea. They should manufacture their own arms, like Israel did.
