Put them all on the Weekly Standard’s annual cruise and bribe the captain to leave them in French Guyana.

Beside Donald Trump, Kurt Schlichter is THE current voice of the American Right.

We purge Jeff Flake and the Republican Establishment roll in McSally who may end up being even worse once she no longer has to pretend to be something (a MAGA patriot) she is not.

A purge is a great idea. The collective "we" would have to turn ourselves inside out. As I sprain my wrist, violently turning off the endless tributes to the creature from the black lagoon, the truth never seemed less palatable.

26 Republicans are retiring in 2018 (the second-highest number in an election year going back to 1974... 2008 saw 27... the average is about 13), including numerous anti-Trump folks.

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI-1) is retiring.
Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is retiring.
Bob Corker (R-TN) is retiring.
John McCain (R-AZ) just passed away.

Smaller names, but more addition by subtraction:
Trent Franks (R-AZ-8) and Blake Farenthold (R-TX027) both resigned following sexual harassment accusations.
Ileaena Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL-27), the 4th-lowest-"Trump-score" Representative, retired.
Frank LoBiondo (R-NJ-2) retired (14th-lowest House Trump-score, out of 236).
John Duncan (R-TN-2) retired (10th-lowest House Trump score).

Mark Sanford (R-SC-1) got Primaried out (the best way to remove RINOs... his Trump-score was 71.1%).
Robert Pittinger (R-NC-6) got Primaried out by a more conservative pastor.

Sadly, some good ones are going, too...
Rep Dave Trott (MI-11) retired, with a Trump score of 98.8%.
Trey Gowdy (R-SC-2) retired... 97.8% trump score...
Orrin Hatch (R-UT) retired... 96.1% Trump score.

Another, Tom Garrett (R-VA-05), Trump score 78.8%, 8th-lowest in the House.
Sanford was 5th-lowest.

That's numbers 4, 5, 8, 10, and 14 retiring voluntarily, among the worst-Trump-score Pubbies in the House.

The lowest, Walter Jones (R-NC-3) won his Primary on May 8 (43%-29%-27%), against 2 challengers attacking his poor support of the President. No DEM ran in NC-3. Phil Law (BS in IT, Marine), and Scott Dacey (NC-4 county commissioner) split the Conservative vote. The Right shoots itself in the foot again.

“26 Republicans are retiring in 2018 ….”

Well, hopefully they’ll all still score that SWEEEEEET Cadillac retirement package that their constituents will never see...

I’m not seeing Gowdy as a particular conservative but I know for certain Orin Hatch is no conservative!

He’s a “poser!”

He proudly proclaimed, as then head of the Senate Judicary Committee, “Clinton was entitled to whomever he wanted as AG, because ‘he won the election,’” when he (Hatch) voted for that idiot Janet Reno and then scuttled the Whitewater investigation when he had the chance to put the nail in the Clinton coffin!

We’d have SC Judge, Merrit Garland, had Hatch been in charge instead of Mitch!

Hatch hoped to become a SC Judge and thank God, he never got that chance.

Hatch is particularly dangerous for the very reason people believe he’s conservative, when he’ll stab you in the back when push comes to shove!!!

Seems to me if the Republican Establishment (Bushies, Karl Rove types) can be replaced by real men who are bent on doing the right thing, we would have little to worry about with individual candidates.

How many very good candidates’ elections did the GOPe derail because they would throw a wrench in the globalist agenda? Mississippi, Delaware, Arizona, California, various districts in NYS are only a small sample.

One example - if the party bosses didn’t conspire to suppress the truth about McCain’s military and Senatorial record, he never would have been in a position to hurt us like he did for decades.

Get rid of the Republican party bosses!

RE:"Jennifer Rubin is not a “conservative commentator” no matter how often the liberals call her that. She’s a lib."

Just watch her on MSNBC Joy Reid twice a week.

Totally liberal.

If you disregard the “republican” and “democrat” label and replace with “liberal” and “conservative” you’ll see the actual scope of the political forces leveled against us.
