You will always have political parties, its human nature.
They existed in the times of the Founding Fathers, they called them “Factions”. Look how quickly the “Federalists” formed around Washington/Hamilton/Adams & “AntiFederalist (or Democrat-Republican)” formed around Jefferson/Henry/Madison/Gallatin/Monroe. All of them with the exception of Washington encouraged party formation even though they might not have publicly said so. They went from “Factions” to organized parties very quickly!

Thats one best remedys Ive heard yet, and for the reasons stated. Of course they would actually have to go home. Not just hang out in Virginia or Maryland to wait out their time-out before running again.
And no lobbying in the interim.

6 years TOTAL for a Congress Critter....Make the Critter...re-election every 3 years...and the Sinator 4 years....TOTAL 8 for a Sinator.
We TERM limit the POTUS..at 8 years..
This 20 yr..40 yr...plus...Congress people...are a cancer on our country.
They get rich...in D.C. the longer they can stay.
They corrupt the people getting there for the first time....or they try. Tom Coburn fought against it....and then gave up..saying you cannot..fight them. Who is them?...ALL of them..!!!

Term limits on Congresscritters wont work. How can it when all the Democrats simply vote in lockstep? The newbie will always vote with the rest of them.

Ping for pretty amazing rant. Language is a bit rough for a lady, so let the Cook watch and give you a report.
