It shows Trump can be manipulated by the media. And I think the VFW and AL were also manipulated by the media.

The Media are just pissed they’ve lost their favorite bludgeon to use on Trump. They’ll probably latch onto Romney, as he’s more than willing to be the media’s pit chihuahua.

Yeah. My Facebook page was overwhelmed by people complaining about the flag not staying lowered. A lot of them retired military. I guess that’s a big deal to them. I just don’t see the importance. In the past, haven’t we lowered the flag for things that we didn’t need to lower the flag for - which kind of cheapens the gesture.
It is not sad that he passed. What is sad is that he is glorified.

I thought Trump knew better, that's why I supported him. He just fell into the same trap Republicans have been falling into for years, thinking this will win him a single vote. It won't. It only demoralizes the base.
They followed decorum. Should have left it alone. This comes across as weak on the White House’s part, sadly.
So how does Trump win here.
Just makes him look like wuss, and everybody else is still just as pissed off at him as before.
