OK, I gotta concede that was funny!
So no one gives a damn about the excellent work Sessions is doing on immigration and border security. Gotcha.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing that Sessions has accomplishment has been to make tens of millions of patriotic Americans realize that THERE ACTUALLY IS A MALEVOLENT DEEP STATE.
Sessions inadvertently accomplished this by his negligence and inaction.
I do not trust Sessions. He looks too much like part of the "insurance policy" that the Deep State took out against President Trump.
I do not believe there is any "4-dimensional chess game" going on here. It looks very much like the Democrats and Republican GOPe have Trump at a stalemate for now. That must change.
Shortly after the mid-term elections is the latest point where the purges must begin, if they are ever going to happen. Clinton fired 93 senior attorneys in the Justice Department when he took control of the Government. Trump will need to do something quite similar and quite soon. In addition, he will need to clean out the senior management of the FBI and CIA.

To speculate in the absence of data is a logical fallacy. Free Republic has become the place where logical fallacies thrive, which is sad knowing that there was a time when this was an online oasis for logical thought and intellectually honest discussion.
The only thing we can say for certain about AG Sessions is that we do not know the full story, and in the absence of knowledge, the wise thing to do is to wait and see.
Sessions is the reason that Trump does not have a DOJ. Sessions job is to make sure that Trump does not have a DOJ that works for his administration. Sessions job is to make sure that Rosenstein and his crew is given a free pass to do whatever they want without interference from Trump.
Sessions backup is the deep state RINO's in congress. These RINO's speak out of both sides of their mouth. They provide platitudes and pretend to support Trump, at the same time they ensure that Sessions keeps his position.

I certainly agree with that sentiment. Even as recently as three or four years ago FR was mostly a discussion board of intelligent exchange of ideas. Even though there were passions on all sides I dont recall the vituperative, aggressive, personal and down right obnoxious behavior that exists routinely now on FR. Of course back then misconduct was quickly rewarded with zotting, something I dont seem to see too often.
It really is unfortunate because people who would otherwise participate but now either remain silent or just leave the site altogether. This is not a good development for FR as an institution, regardless of where somewhere falls on the spectrum of ideas.
The quote from woods embodies why all of us were thrilled to have him appointed as AG. Everytime obama did something illegal or unconstututiional sessions would take to the floor of the senate and just tear obama a new one.
That is precisely why many, if not most of us, cannot undertsand why he now has the Power to do something about all that clinton obama deep state illegality and CRICKETS!
Nothing would make me happier than Sessions announcing a bunch of charges against the obama criminals. I would be estastic to admit I was wrong and that sessions has been working behind the scenes all along for the past 18 months. But logic suggests to me that if in fact there were real investigations going on we would know about it. And something would have happened by now.

i believe Jeff is really a great man doing a very hard, if not impossible job for the President and We the People. he’s working hard to restore America’s borders, and restore America to her people. the whole system is fighting back against him and the President. it’s sad to see so many here dragging his good name through the mud.

I wasn’t thrilled with the Sessions pick for AG but then I thought there’s got to be at least one decent and honest congressman in the swamp...I was wrong. At least about Sessions.
