Now I know this, it seems to me if I had accepted an invitation to attend or speak, I would have to politely withdraw my acceptance.

What a spiteful, evil, ungrateful, LITTLE man. Sarah Palin was THE only reason why we actively campaigned for and supported McCain.
My wife made an astute observation: McCain acted this way because Sarah Palin was more beloved and popular than he was; he knew it and he couldn't stand for it.
John McCain was a narcissist to the end and beyond. It was always about him, not America, not Arizona, not the people who elected him to office to serve THEM, it was always, only, ever about him!

A spiteful, hateful man until the very end. Palin is the only reason McCain got my vote in 2008. I was so right about him.
To: mandaladon
Wouldn’t it be great if in 2020 Trump drop Pence and added Palin?-)

I've wondered why she hasn't received a cabinet post. She'd be great as the Secretary of the Interior.

“McCain family keeping it as classy in death as he was in life.”
Seeing as he deliberately trashed everyone who voted for him to appease our domestic enemies and enrich himself, I’m overjoyed to have also been excluded from Ace McCain’s Paul Wellstone moment.

“She is the only reason I voted for your sorry ass, McCain!”
I feel the same way.

I believe it. The guy was an egocentric snake.
He always passed himself off as a military expert.

The mirror image of the Paul Wellstone memorial extravaganza.Another similarity is that they both had tons of Democrats in attendance and few if any conservative Republicans.

I've notice lately that a lot of Freepers have a problem with Matt Drudge but right now his only mention of McCain is this egregious action by his family. It's accompanied by a lovely picture of Palin, McCain and Cindy, when Palin endorsed his Senatorial reelection in 2010.

I wonder if Dennis DeConcini and Donald Riegle the only remaining members of the Keating five were allowed to attend.

I never thought of that, but seeing how bizarre (and deeply corrupt the government of our country is, that could certainly be true.

"To paraphrase Obama....you can see a direct line from Palin, the Tea Party to Trump. She played an important role which set up a future Trump candidacy. Someone had to light a spark under the conservative base and Palin did so."

Sarah Palin may not have been the best choice for a VP running mate, and maybe her folky simple style was easy game for the East Coast sharks, but she always seemed to me to be a genuine, decent, honest, and careful person. A solid Christian woman with admirable values.
Seems to me that McCain used her as a tool for his own political schemes, but even her sweetheart personality could not balance his nasty and bitter personality.
He lost NOT because of her, but because he comes across as a loose cannon with a bad temper. Nevertheless, that didn’t stop him from throwing her under the bus, and then bitch slapping her from beyond the grave.
Unbelievable.
