I’ve hit many Dems on Reddit with this hypocrisy.
The best “excuse” some have come up with is that “I was 7 years old in 2008”.

Senate republicans should just say they don’t want the senate office building renamed the McCain SOB. They should act hugely offended that the Dems would even suggest something that awful so close to his death (insert evil grin here)
If McCain had not served in the military, would he ever have gotten where he did politically? The truth is that he used the war hero card as masterfully as the race card was used by Obama to make himself untouchable and immune to criticism. I’m all for honoring the honest service of those in the military, but to demand that someone be given a lifelong pass to wield power is disingenuous and manipulative.
Somebody please ping me when the orgy of McCain worship is finally off the airwaves. I might take a break from baseball or Family Feud and watch the news again.

McCain revealed by his final actions just how dark and filled with hatred and anger he was. He died with a heart full of hate, and his final actions were acts of hate, cruelty, and vengeance. That’s his legacy: hate, anger, pettiness, cruelty, vindictiveness, and revenge. What a miserable and pathetic man. And saddest of all is that it could all have been different; he could have left the world a legacy of love, kindness, forgiveness, light, hope, wisdom, and blessings.
I believe that all 3 John McCains are now officially associated with the so named destroyer.

Agree. Even a significant portion of his farewell letter was just a hit on PDJT. The Senate Office Building (SOB) is already named after McCain.
The Dims and their accomplices in the media are making a big deal of this simply to hurt Trump. They don’t give a hoot about John McCain; they only care that his passing may inflict damage on the President.
I understand all of it and that is why I dont even have a TV. What is the point in watching mentally deranged people ? Yeah, it can be entertaining in a perverse kinda way, but that only goes so far
