Then, if the Democrats win the majority, deliver the report in December with a roadmap to items they can call "high crimes and misdemeanors"--firing James Comey, the hush money payments, calling that Mexican-American judge a "Mexican," his statement after Charlottesville, etc.
I doubt that they really think they can get rid of him before the term ends, but they want to weaken him so that he can't get much done in the second two years of the term.

They lied to federal judges, they lied to FISA Courts, they lied to get wiretaps, they lied to put people in jail, they lied to spy on innocent Americans, they lied so that newspapers would lie, they lied to take people’s rights away, they lied about people’s guilt, they lied to arrest people’s lawyers, they lied to destroy attorney-client privilege, they lied to get others to lie, and why did they do all this lying, for one reason, they didn’t like Donald Trump’s politics.
When the next IG report concerning FISA abuse comes in the Mueller project will lose all credibility. I mean, how does he say he believes Comey if the guy is on the road to indictment along with other DOJ superstars? The breadcrumb trail is already leading to his team courtesy of Bruce Ohr’s misconduct.
