The release of the documents raises an obvious question: What took her so long? “This is the kind of public servant I want to be — transparent,” said Warren in an interview last week, when asked why she only now went through the exercise of pulling together her personnel files. “I just, I’m ready for it all to be out there.”

All of this could be solved with a simple DNA test, eh Liz?

She’s running in 2020. Gives her two years to scrub her files. I guess a tee that there will be a mysterious 23 and Me file found that she forgot about that states she is 1/24th Cherokee or whatever.

“Ethnicity not a factor in Elizabeth Warren’s rise in law”

This article, at this time, raises more questions than it answers.

There needs to be a special counsel appointed and a full investigation. We need the complete truth about non-protected class students abusing the system at the expense of those really entitled. Transfers of wealth should be for the needy, not the greedy.

So she’s claiming she’s not white, now?

Yep...just a totally innocent misunderstanding...

And I am sure a conservative politician would get the same puff piece for a similar misunderstanding.

*****

IN WHAT WOULD be her final year at the University of Texas, Warren made a decision that would come to haunt her: She listed herself in the Association of American Law Schools annual directory as a minority law professor.

Nearly three years after Warren accepted the job at the University of Pennsylvania, university records show that she asserted her Native American heritage again: She had Penn switch her listed ethnicity from “white” to “Native American.”

But her minority status was duly noted: The university’s Minority Equity Report, published in April 2005, shows that Warren won a teaching award in 1994. Her name is in bold and italicized to indicate she was a minority.

Administrators marked her down as a Native American from 1995 to 2004. Her colleagues gave her some guff about it, joking behind her back that her Native American name would have been “Talking Pot,” in homage to her oratorical skills.

Harvard Law School also used Warren’s ethnicity internally in December 1995 to bolster the case that they didn’t need to hire more minorities (even though publicly the law school continued to pledge support for diversity).

This proves nothing. They are all probably lying.

Please tell me the difference between Liawatha’s rise to power and Rachel Dolezal’s rise to power in the NAACP.

A waste of time for Fauxahontas! The DNC will make sure The White Squaw gets nowhere close to the nomination!

Outside the hall, students held a silent vigil to demand the law school add more minorities.

One is not supposed to discriminate on race. So it does not surprise me that those who hired her would not claim to have. The safest answer to tell the Globe would be you didnt know about the claim.

The Boston Globe should start printing editions on plastic. They would be able to carry more water that way.

Dear Boston Globe,
what’s the fake Injun term for “white-wash?”

Does anyone here follow MA poltics?

Did anyone hear Jeff Kuhher of Joe Pag's show the other night talking about this guy below?

If this candidate wins the Republican nomination on 09/04 and beats the one who checks the wrong box in November, her political career is toast, fenuto, bye-bye.

He claims he is up with Indy's by 14% and behind her by 2%.

This is the race to watch this fall Geoff Diehl vs Liz Warren..

Occam’s razor. If it provided no advantage for blond haired white woman to change her ethnicity to “Native American,” why would she do it?

I am definitely voting for Diehl on Tuesday and in the general. The other two Republicans are a pair of never-trumpsters. Also, voting for Scott Lively over Charlie Baker.

If you can self-identify with a sexual orientation then why not an ethnic orientation?

As someone else has observed, every blessed single law professor at Harvard is a graduate of a top five law school, except one. And she did not go to a top 10 or top 25 or even a top 50 law school.

With all these 70 plus year olds running, they better have ambulances follow all of them around. This is so ridiculous.
