Big Media will be happy to quote Rahm’s intolerance and misogyny every day of the week for as long as he’d like.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton (R) addresses a crowd gathered for a campaign rally for Rahm Emanuel (L), former White House Chief of Staff for U.S. President Barack Obama, on January 18, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois. Emanuel is considered the front-runner in the race to replace Richard Daley as mayor of Chicago.

He’ll probably run for Senate. Watch him move to Arizona.

The Chicago Rats Focus Groups must be very damaging to Rahm and the ChiRats.

Wow. I am not in the city anymore, but I’m close enough that who is elected makes a difference. I knew he wasn’t popular with a lot of people, but I somehow expected him to stick it out one more time. What bothers me is, considering the current candidates, Chicago could do far worse. At least with Rahm you knew what you had. By far the best of the lot is Paul Vallas. Outside of crooked Dorothy Brown, former police superintendent Garry McCarthy, and perennial candidate Willie Wilson, the rest are community activist/DSA-type nobodies.

Whatever Rahm’s reasons were for leaving, he seemed relieved.

He’s getting out of town before he’s ridden out on a rail.

It’s high time the Windy City had a Republican mayor, similar to Giuliani or LaGuardia. When a Democrat screws up a major city big time, a Republican can come in to clean up the mess.

LMAO. He has shown the world what an incompetent he is. So even he knows running again would be useless. And good. Let’s see what other idiot runs in his stead.

I've decided not to seek reelection," he said.

Because he's find it harder to find things to screw up.

He’s totally incompetent, and he figured it out. Quite out of character for a Marxist.

My $$ says his replacement will be worse. Much, much worse.

Not gonna happen. My guess is they’ll get a Progressive in there so Left-wing that I’ll make Rahm look like a Republican. Sucks for Chicago, but its what the voters will vote for.

Or something very bad is about to hit the fiscal fan, and Tiny Dancer’s bugging one step ahead of the posse...
