I give grieving parents a lot of leeway but seeking an audience with a judge about legislative matters during a confirmation hearing is inappropriate. In fact, the parent was wrong.
The parent should be talking with Florida Senator Bill Nelson and asking why after so many decades in elected office the Senator has no influence and is ineffective in the U.S. Senate pushing gun confiscation.
