Misremembering and lying are not the same thing.

They way they set you up for a perjury trap is the first time they contact you they make it relaxed and informal, you’re doing them a favor by having a little chat with them to help them out.

The next time they contact you you’re taken into a room and grilled.

Any discrepancies between the first time you talked to them and the second time is “lying to the FBI.”

Worthless Obama judge giving a guy 2 weeks in a federal jail for a process crime that shouldn’t have even been prosecuted.

At most it shoulda been a $50 fine.

The corrupt mule spent millions of our taxpayer dollars in order to prove that people sometimes don't remember dates very well. (about 90% of the population).

"What was the date of the last time you got a haircut?"

"About 3 Saturdays ago I guess."

"I asked you the date!"

"Um, the 17th?"

"HA!, It was the 18th. Executioner, throw him to the mark!"

Lying to the “FIB”.

So what is the punishment due the FIBbers?

However, the judge added, the crime was "a calculated exercise of self-interest over the national interest. He was seeking to assist himself in a way that placed his own personal ambitions above the interests of the United States."

Assumes facts not in evidence.

By what stretch of imagination did the judge determine that the actions of the FBI in this case were aligned with the interests of the United States?

I can’t say as I blame George. I would spend the 14 days in jail myself to get out from all the legal BS from the Mueller Gestapo.

I had to laugh when I saw this. Some replies I got on The Hill from libs today were that “I’d be crying when Popadopoulos was sentenced today.” I cracked up when I saw it was for 14 days for lying to the FBI, and threw it back in their faces. Ohhh, 14 days in jail...hope he can handle it and doesn’t hang up!! What? No Russian collusion? I read that Mueller wanted 6 months. What a joke this all is. 14 days for being set up.

I can’t remember what I had for supper last night. If the FBI asked me that question today, and I didn’t give them the right answer, I’d be charged.

If Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton got 14 days in jail for every time she misspoke she’d still be there at the end of time.

States need to pass laws that anytime a federal bureaucrat lies to anyone in the state, the punishment is 14 days in state prison and a $9,500 fine.

Midterms, yes. Aftermath, maybe.

None of this will end by itself.

Whatever the reason(s), Trump has allowed anyone remotely connected to him to be sheep before the slaughter.

I voted for him without hesitation. I would not serve in his administration as things stand.

Accolades. Promotions.

Look at Weissmann: 0-9 before the Supreme Court. A thug to make Frank Nitti (who mentored Saul Alinsky) blush with pride.

He is a hit-man for the Swamp, and the Swamp rewards him well.

He was a fool for pleading guilty to a felony. He was set up and could have beaten the case with a good lawyer.

“So what is the punishment due the FIBbers?”

Execution for treason. Nothing less! And we know the list of who, although it appears to never be complete, but off the top of my head:

Obama
Clinton
Reid
Abedin
Simpson
Jacoby
Fritsch
Catan
Weiner
Mueller
Yates
Weissmann
Comey
McCabe
Rybicki
Page
Strzok
Bruce Ohr
Nellie Ohr
Baker

Sadly, the list grows day by day.
