Guess that’s why he came in 150,000 votes below Ducey in the primary turnout.

I keep saying this: AZ has 150,000 more Rs than Ds, and with 1.2m indies who vote on average at a rate of only 30%, you’re looking at ANY statewide D candidate having to get 2:1 indies to break even.

Please: Show me any poll where the D gets 2:1 among the indies.

No. No teachers cuz “Red4Ed” did NOT get on the ballot.

I just don’t understand the hand wringing. “Rs better get out and vote!”

What do you think we did in the primary, beating the Ds in both the Senate and Gov race by 150,000 votes !!!!!

We have outregistered the Ds by 150,000. Sick of hysteria over fake polls as in 2016, when people here were jumping off buildings.

The 20th century was the century of ideology (red vs. blue).

The 21st century is the century of the blood.

Ocasio-Cortez and Pressly didn’t win because they were socialists. They won because Crowley and Capuano were white.

And if Garcia wins, it won’t be because he’s a RAT. It will be because Ducey is white.

“Hard to believe that Arizona is turning purple”. Not really that hard. All you have to do is watch the migration of people from Liberal California and they bring their Politics with them. Same thing happened to Oregon, Washington and Nevada. They screwed up California and now they are working on Arizona.

I really wish people would stop sharing clearly corrupt PPP and Quinnipiac polls here.

Arizona is now 31% Hispanic.
Texas is almost 40% Hispanic.

And it is all because of the feckless, duplicitous, treacherous conduct of GOP elite and their failure to defend this country and our party. That is why I no longer support their business legislation or tax cuts for business or wealthy. We have accomplished nothing in the way of conservative reform unless it financially benefits them. We do not need tax cuts we need to take back our country. They should get nothing until the border is secure and our immigration laws are enforced. And that goes for their wealthy globalist elites in the Democrat party too.

From what I have heard teachers switched from D to R for the primary.

Nobody knows for sure until the actual election how this will turn out.

Ducey made a safe choice in Jon Kyl to replace John McCain but it’s the education $$$ that have been getting a lot of attention since May and most local TV stations are pushing the cause as well.

I don’t like them either but so many sitting on the fence and don’t care about voting. It’s time to get them off their couches and completing a ballot.

Oh, and whose to say we won’t have issues when people go to vote? I had heard there was a Republican precinct where they could not vote for several hours due to issues with the machines.

Fortunately, I always vote by mail.

I really wish people would stop sharing clearly corrupt PPP and Quinnipiac polls here.

Maybe polls that show a close race or a Democrat leading might motivate our side to go out and vote.

I think the GOP is going to have a turnout problem. The Democrats aren't. Come Election Day, they're going to mobilize every last voter they can pay and dig up to get to the polls.

I'm not seeing this energy on our side. Just a lot of complacency and pooh-poohing the polls.

So polls say the Dems are gonna win? Post them!

Polls said Roy Moore would easily win. All the people who hated him stayed home. Doug Jones won instead.

Trump was absolutely right to blame us if the rats take control of both houses. I love our side but we seem to have an abundance of lazy, slothful voters.

Except it was the conservative Californians that are leaving the state, not the liberals. In my area of AZ half of the residents come from CA and Trump carried the area by 30%. Would have been 35% but some long time residents voted for Johnson.

Look at the voting patterns over the past twenty-five years. The Republicans went from 39% to 26% of registered voters, lost a dozen House seats, no longer competitive in the Senate races, don’t hold any state executive offices (and slim chance of getting any soon), and Dems had a super majority in the legislature until this year; in 1994 it was even.

Doesn’t happen if liberals leave the state. It does happen when conservative voters die or leave the state and are replaced with liberal voters.

“The polling group says the research was conducted on behalf of Garcia’s campaign.”

Even if this wasn’t the case, we all know that PPP is an agenda-driven pollster seeking to boost Democrat chances in November. But the fact that the Garcia campaign had to pay PPP to reach this result tells me that Ducey is up by near double digits.

If Ducey could just pull the same number as Trump in 2016 there (1.25 million)...then there’s not much of an issue. But if you look back at 2014’s governor race....Ducey only had 805,000 people show up for him...with Duval pulling 626,000. I don’t see this race being that different. Duval was a business guy and plain-talker....but it just didn’t go anywhere. It ought to be a repeat of 2014.

I sure hope so.

The teachers are seeking HUGE tax increases and Garcia appears to be on their side BIG time.

We can’t afford this and to think teachers have the audacity to walk out and protest again is beyond words.
