Les Moonves is a bad person. And all conservatives should rejoice that he is gone. Les considered his job to be “shaping public opinion.”
He was the inner circle of the elite. Les kept the news room liberal but not too liberal. He kept the TV shows mildly liberal while appearing to be wholesome.

At a graduation speech at Bucknell two years ago he was frank. He told the students that shaping and changing public opinion was one of the things he liked most about his job. And threw out a few examples about gay marriage and immigrant rights. So I figure we have gotten rid of a hidden propagandist. A new one will take his place. But at least he will be out in the open. And probably not as good at it.

I had a number of guys make ‘passes’ at me when I worked in offices.

I never felt like they were being aggressive....just making a pass....

This whole situation is totally out of hand, IMO.

“Men of modest means seem to never have these problems? Hmmmmmm........”

They get the accusations, because being unattractive in today’s workplace means you have no right to do much of anything around females. You can get accused of anything, but forget the big payoffs.

He will leave without one. After an investigation into the truth of the allegations, they will see if anything will go to him. Which I think is reasonable for all sides.

We never shoulda let them things vote.

I sure hope your above statement is intended sarcastically, because those "things" include all the women in your life whom you love (assuming there are women in your life whom you love). Wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, niece, and so on. Women are half the human race and there would be no men without us.

As for voting, not all women vote for Democrats. Millions vote for conservatives. Insulting those of us who do is not going to expand our ranks.

What I can’t figure out is why in the world would you want to work in an industry where this behavior is the norm?

Maybe he is a ‘bad guy’, as you assert. Julie Chen says otherwise, just for the record.

Still, it is not right that people can go back in time almost three decades, make allegations that are all but impossible to prove one way or the other, and destroy a man’s career and probably his marriage as well.

They did this to several of ‘our’ guys like Allen West and several others whose names escape me right now. Conservatives suffered for it too, as conservative representation in Congress suffered. None of it was substantiated by the way, but by then it was too late.

“Them things”.....??? Really? Is that the way you speak of your mother?

Nope not true. He is stepping down with zero....for the time being. Much depends on outcome of multiple investigations

Really? Pushing someone’s head onto your penis is considered appropriate where you live and work?

My brothers taught me how to avoid pigs like Les....use teeth and remember to twist really hard if you have a handful

I met my wife at work. I was doing such long hours at the time, that I was unlikely to have met a girl anywhere else.

Same here. I had to make up reasons to head to my wife's area. I had to find out when she took breaks so I could show up in the break area when she did. The very first time I caught her in the break room I asked her out. Nigh 25 years ago.

Absolutely in violation of leftist femboy doctrine.

One article stated that he might lose the retirement package. But who knows what can be believed in this age of fake news.

I agree. It’s gotten so out of hand that all a woman has to do is say it happened and BAMMM.....it did. No innocent until proven guilty? Sickening

Moonves and Michael Jordan were running Westinghouse into the ground when Westinghouse bought CBS. They sacrificed a great company to put themselves in charge of CBS. Wouldn’t think Moonves has gained any moral standing since then.

I hope when you say that in front of her, you make it sound a teensy bit more romantic...
