“Correct, and one of Marsha’s ads does a good job of pointing that out, using clips from the President. She should do more attack ads on this basis.”

It was the first good ad she ran. BUT, She’s got to fight that fight now. Not solely rely on Trump clips. Makes her seem weak.

Yes! Her ad about opposing human trafficking is cringe-worthy. I don’t think anyone can say that Bredesen supports human trafficking. Ugh.

That is very close for Tennessee

Bredesen is very popular here I hate to say

I know people who will vote for him who usually vote GOP

She should be out front two to one

2016 election

TRUMP 60.72%

HILLARY 34.72%

this is troubling....though she’ll likely pull it off.....this is why the Dems begged him to run

Nashville is identical to Austin except not quite as much weird

Votes the same

On a river although a navigable one

State capital each

Big universities each.....edge Austin

Hilly ...Nashville rougher terrain but lush. Austin more open spaces and plateaus

Music business..each

Tech...each

Both surrounded by conservative suburbs and estate country

Nashville has more healthcare than anywhere

Austin and Nashville are more alike than almost any two large ish cities besides say Cleveland and Detroit

Both Nashville and Austin are hipster meccas and have huge downtown party and bar strips

Nashville has Broadway

Austin has 6th Street

I give edge to Nashville on this one.....it is maybe the most consistent party zone USA since South Beach was lost to the thugs

Yes more than Bourbon street which is also lost to thugs

Indeed

Bredesen is pro abortion

She’s leaving thst alone though in a strong pro life state

Not sure why

The GOP establishment here is giving to Bredesen as much as to Marsha....maybe more

Bredesen can win. This.

Y’all remember I warned everyone

I hope not

He’s good ole boy-ing her to death right now.

The first ad touting the fact that she sold text books to pay for school proving that she’s a go-getter was equally rough.

This is about one thing. Stopping the Democrats destruction of a duly elected president.

Can’t believe she was ever trailing...

In an election year when a military veteran is trailing a strident socialist for Governor of Florida, and a whackjob leftist is tied for Governor in Georgia, nothing surprises me.

I very much doubt she's ever trailed. Thanks 11th_VA.

I’m in TN, so state-based questions were for Tennessee races.

Don’t get comfortable. Get folks out to vote like the D has a 15 point lead, and they can only stop them by fighting like hell.

“Republican financiers, titans of industry in Tennessee, are still gloomy about the retirement of Sen. Bob Corker, a conservative pragmatist.”

Oh; that’s just lovely. A “conservative pragamatist”. Sheesh.

Blackburn, Pence, Schlapp, and others will be in Knoxville on 9/28 I think. 11 a.m. We may try to go.

Not a crazy lib ? What would you call someone who would, while Governor, send out a “Christmas Card” with a Mohammadan portrayed on it ?
