WE HAVE A BINGO!
He took what was essentially a garage band and cultivated them, producing what I'll concede was some of the greatest pop/rock music ever put on vinyl.
And he did that in a remarkably short time span.
Paul admittedly co-wrote and sang some great tunes in the early years, but I sensed a definite decline about the time he musically babbled "do me a favor, open the door and let him in."
Then he totally lost me a few years ago when, during an appearance at the WH, I watched him give Obama a verbal Lewinsky.

I've always loved the Beetles and England but McCartney has a lot of room to be criticizing America. The fools who run England have let it be overrun with murderous 7th century inbred savages who have destroyed its charm and culture and made it a dangerous place to live/visit..
