Thank you, Jim. Trump is very good for our nation. Cruz is very good as well. To tear down either man is foolishness.

I’m actually worried about this seat. Beto withdrew from’the debate which usually means your internals look VERY good for you. If we lose the seat to this cross dressing anti-US leftist Texas is pretty much lost and therefore the country, just a matter of time.

There must be money pouring in here in North Texas for the Democrats, because there are Beto signs everywhere.

Same in West Texas. On money, Beto says he rejects PAC cash in favor of “small donors.” So what is he doing at fundraisers in NYC and left coast. Duplicity thy name is Beto.

I’ve heard the same thing about the signs. A sea of Beto signs and no Cruz. We’re told the signs mean nothing but I do remember Trump’s were everywhere and HRC not so much, Trump carried our sate, the first R in MANY years.

Hear, hear. While I am well aware that the average FReeper is not as big a fan of Senator Cruz as I am, you sure can bet that they absolutely would *hate* a Senator Beto O’Rourke. President Trump and Senator Cruz have buried the hatchet following their nomination fight of 2016, and it is silly for any FReeper to be less than 100% committed to Ted Cruz’s reelection.

The debates are on. I think “Beto” was originally afraid to debate Cruz but found that he would have to do it. Cruz will mop the floor with him.

You are spot on...the bashing of Cruz was non stop. I believe he was attacked on FR more than Hillary.

The 70% includes hispanic, which have traditionally been considered white, and only are now considered a separate group because it benefits democrats. But if you go by that split, Texas is 45% white, 37% hispanic, 11% Black, 4% Asian, and some misc and rounding error make up the last few points.

I was very angry at Cruz during the primaries especially after Chicago and the Convention. But all of that must be put aside for the greater “good.”

If I were a democrat I would say vote early and vote often, but being a Conservative, I will just urge Trump supporters to vote as if the Republic depends on it.

I have gotten one Cruz robocall on my home phone, but 4 Beto texts on my unlisted cell phone (they probably got the number from their friends at Google).

Sometimes I get multiple calls a day, both Abbott and Cruz calls. Emails and twitters too. Never a Beto contact.

Must be cause I donate to both. You must realize by now I've always been a "Birther". I stopped donating to the RNC when they refused to challenge Obama's credentials.

Now I only donate to individual candidates and currently Abbott and Cruz are on my list, with some non-Texans as well.

It gets very confusing

Federal policy defines “Hispanic” not as a race, but as an ethnicity. And it prescribes that Hispanics can in fact be of any race.

Announced Friday by both campaigns, the schedule calls for debates Sept. 21 in Dallas, Sept. 30 in Houston and Oct. 16 in San Antonio. Each event will be an hour long and vary in topic and format:

Dallas: Domestic policy, moderated

Houston: Domestic policy, "town hall style"

San Antonio: Half domestic policy, half foreign policy; moderated

The Dallas debate will be at Southern Methodist University, the Houston debate will be at the University of Houston and the San Antonio debate will be at a studio there.

There’s a reason the left would be jumping for joy IF they succeeded in ousting Cruz. Cruz reads them like the story book they are, and puts them in their place. Cruz IS a generator of conservative principles subtle, or pronounced.

So all the debates are going to be in Democrat strongholds? The idiots running the Cruz campaign were such poor negotiators that they couldn’t get a single debate in friendly territory?

Does Cruz WANT to lose?

“...Beto is a white Irish transvestite.
Cruz is Hispanic.....”

Gee...

I remember a time, seems like forever ago now, when we were all just “Americans”.
