Agreed. I did some checking on something else, too. They're probably not surveying low information adults much. I had the opportunity over a few days to ask quite a few nonpolitical people in my locale while running errands.

None of them will answer calls from the survey companies or organizations. They don't even know the names of them. They only want to text with their friends, entertain themselves and occasionally look up information that they can use personally.

Most of them are younger women (some older), but they don't care about the abortion issue, either. They assume that policies won't change much despite the noise from politicians. Same with a few men I talked to.

They'll do what they want to do in spite of politics and won't let anyone get in their way. They're not stupid, although they have their narrow interests. Most of them voted for Trump (though not all). They're just fed up.

Honestly, I think the long periods of low wages and underemployment just made them meaner and rougher. So maybe they'll be quiet and refuse to answer politicians, until something makes them mad.

Can't blame them much, really. Many of them have been through some heavy hardships. They do like the Trump Administration, by the way. Even some of the lefty women like the extra business activity, raises and attention from young men who are a little better employed now.
