I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, the way the Democrats behave in every instance necessarily leads me to believe that this whole thing is trumped-up. It’s what they do.

Yes, I heard about that. But the only actual evidence we have is that she “remembered” the event at the time but no names were attached at that time. That’s part of the foundation on which I rest my perspective.

This may be the next whispers, that is, "our clever ploy didn't work, so sorry, it wasn't him after all. It was some other drunk boy."

"Hoist with his own petard"

(Blown up by her own bomb)

Democrats concocting an alternate scenario as a way out of this self-made debacle for Dianne Feinstein so she doesn't have to eat crow on national TV.

There’s no walking this one back. They have knowingly falsely accused a man of rape in order to buy time to destroy him in another way.

Anyone involved in promoting or legitimizing it is now, in my view, a valid target for any retaliatory action lawful or otherwise.

Bring on the death squads. It’s time.

Landon makes much more sense.
1. her brother went to Landon so she’d be more apt to protect someone’s identity this long.Bethesda is far from her home in Potomac.
2.Bethesda is also where Landon is. But much closer than where Prep is.
3. She said she walked from the golf course. the famous men’s Only Burning Tree Club is in that neighborhood. There are tons of swimming pools there and split level style homes. That neighborhood backs up to her high school Holton-Arms. I always thought it was a Landon Guy. They ran in a pack on weekends and always wanted to go skinny dipping.
4. It would be very easy not to remember the exact house because they all look alike and it’s very hilly and dark.
5. Her friends probably dated Landon guys because they were brother/sister schools so those would be the parties she gravitated to.

The Democrats are playing to their base - especially women voters.

How can any woman who has a husband, brother and, especially, son, vote for a Democrat? Maybe there are just so many of them who are really man-haters without any of the above who they care about.

They seem to believe that all men are evil. It is the Dems who are actually evil.

According to Google maps,
Holton Arms and Landon are 1.8 miles, 5 minutes by car away.

Meanwhile, Georgetown Prep is 6.8 miles away and 18 minutes by car on major expressways.

Looking at a map, it’s obvious the Holton and Landon are going to be kids who grew up together and know each other from the neighborhood.

Georgetown Prep is across town, separated by major expressways.
Completely different neighborhood.

There were about 6 different high schools that were within 6.8 miles of my high school.
The only way I knew kids from any other schools was through the church youth group we attended.

Outside of church activities, my hanging out with them, didn’t happen until I started driving.

The issues start not only with her assignment of who did it, but with her recollections.

Her memories as described are too soft and vague for the trauma she claims were imparted on her from them. That’s simply not the way trauma works - which has physiological mechanisms.

Like democrats would ever admit it.

And even if they did, IF...if the MSM would play it, it would be buried between 2 other pieces that the viewer would simply forget that they ever saw it.

We are in agreement. That is actually my point but to be clear, I actually see it as two separate events.

After thirty years, she remembers an event. Six years later, she names the persons involved, all of which deny it ever happened. And her recollection is ridiculously fuzzy on the details. No prosecutor would take this case. It’s ridiculous.

“Mistaken identification” implies that the identifier actually believes it. This case involves politically-motivated, deliberately “false identification.” Ford and the Dems know full well what she is doing. If the Republicans produce 100% ironclad proof it’s all a lie, the Dems will say they are being mean to a poor woman suffering from post-assault disorder. And millions of voting vegetables will agree.

One of my first lessons in political infighting was, when you finally have beaten into the ground the the scumbag who is trying to screw you via politics, it is often a good strategy to give your beaten and properly discredited and diminished opponent a face saving exit strategy.

A terrified, cornered rat will fight to the death unless you give them some avenue to escape.

Rats are disgusting, filthy creatures and even when you stomp a cornered rat e to death, if the rat has nothing to lose he can get in a few bites which can give a very nasty, or even fatal infection.

If you give a smart rat an out they scurry away and usually are smart enough to steer clear of your path in the future. It does not work with mean, dumb rats because they are too stupid recognize that you are giving them a chance to live so they just ignore the chance to escape and fight to the death anyway

Kavanaugh has apparently told Senator Hatch that he was not "at the party", which would indicate that a party did take place, and it's location and time are known. That is the only way that Kavanaugh can categorically state that he was not there.

My guess is that there was a party, and Dr Ford was assaulted at the party, and that Dr Ford, or someone else at the party told others about it, at the time. This would not only be not surprising, it would be expected. Things like that are never kept private, particularly not in high school.

I expect others to come forward soon with things like - "she told me she was attacked, but at the time she said it was xxxx" or "I was at that party, something did happen to her, but Kavanaugh was not even at the party".

The ONLY way that Kavanaugh could make such a categorical statement is if something did happen, and if the facts missing from Dr Ford's statement are known by other parties.

I see this gal as being someone who I can’t believe the story told because of the drunken state she was normally in.

Of course, that's why she never said anything at the time. What was she doing

• At another kid's house with no parents at home, doubtless without her own parents' knowledge
• At a no-parents party mixing girls and boys when she was only 15
• At a party with alcohol?
She knew she shouldn't even have been there in the first place; and unless her parents were liberals, they would have been angry about her probably lying and sneaking into a dangerous situation.

I am sick of the accusations against boys and men without regard to the immoral recklessness of the girls and women they supposedly "take advantage" of.

Scott Adams brought up the possibility it is an implanted memory, though it might be a political hit piece. Evidence: she came up with it in 2012 when it looked like Romney might win and she was afraid Kavanaugh might be nominated to the Supreme Court then.

Who was in the room? They were all elite boys destined for high status, judges, for example. Who was in the room? That guy up for a judge, uh, Kavanaugh. Who else was in the room? What was his name? Judge. Yeah, there was a guy named Judge. (And actually was.)

this whole matter is like Ford getting lots of free help with “therapy” regarding her fuzzy memories (or fantasies) of past - only it’s enabling her delusions instead of helping her accept truth of herself (let alone what anyone may have done with her or not), and in the process she is causing harm to an innocent man and his family and in ways, our country.

This was my thought. Either she is lying (which I believe) or she is mistaken and it was someone other than Kavanaugh. If what they say is true about those days of wild partying, she may have been too drunk to remember.

On that topic, there are more cases of damaged livers in the younger age groups than in boomers. It is sad to see people destroy their bodies with binge drinking in high school and college. There is a price to pay, but young people think they are invincible and that it’s cool to get so drunk you do stupid, dangerous stuff and then pass out. I fear for the future.
