I think there’s an outside chance the Trump belief is that public outrage with DC intransigence HELPS him:
Stoke that, he might think, and he stokes his own political fortunes.
I think there is some chance he WELCOMES his opposition stonewalling him, and the resulting gnashing of teeth.
She’s already said she won’t testify.
Liberal privilege.
They’re too busy looking for their gonads.
