As I understand, the charges aren’t federal crimes, and no one is accusing Kavanaugh of lying during any of his six Federal background checks yet. For Ford’s and Ramirez’s accusations, Bethesda and New Haven, respectively, have jurisdiction, ignoring statute of limitations.
Some of us have held our noses and voted for this GOPE trash ONLY because of SCOTUS nominations and they manage to screw this one final reason to vote for them up royally. This will bring ina few voters in November but it will also turn off a lot of others with this final betrayal by the GOPE.

Exactly. If he is not put on the Supreme Court, I will lose faith in my country. I’m close to it, now. But, of course, that is precisely what the Democrats(Communists) want.
