Socialism absolves you of any requirement to produce a positive result. All that matters is ‘good intentions.’
It’s the low-guilt option because no matter how much your efforts fail to improve the circumstance of the intended beneficiaries, your failure is always someone else’s fault.

Keep in mind that Trump has spent decades having to work with politicians to get approvals, zonings, etc, etc. He knows how to negotiate with politicians, and he knows the players very well.
Why is someone a socialist? That’s easy: People who cannot eek out a living on their own (for whatever reason) get the rest of us to pay for their lives.
Being a socialist is a lot easier than having to work like the rest of US:-)

Bingo!!! Contrary to lying propaganda, Socialism is not about sharing the wealth. It is about controlling the wealth and doling it out only to those who show themselves willing to toe the party line.

Geezers favor socialism because they haven’t had the foresight to save for their old age and imagine that government will indemnify their irresponsibility because it said it would.
EXACTLY. These chumps think they will be the ones doing the victimizing, rather than being the victims. They don’t realize that many of them, will be standing tall, in front of the anti aircraft guns. The hard core commies will figure, if these people are traitors to their own country, they can’t trust them either.
It is all about covetousness and covetous people wanting (and/or forcibly taking) what belongs to someone else.
