Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...did you have some hiking weather?
Yeah, 70s and 80s trump 90s and 100s every time they’re tried! LOL! I’m SO over summer!
Glad you got some more rain. How much in the gauge this round?
WOW! Sounds fabulous!!!!!!! Glad you were able to get away to have all that fun and see so many cool places. The envy runneth deep here. LOL
Herdin’ these kittehs is definitely a challenge! Our most recent addition is 6 mos. old now and is a real firecracker. If she’s awake, she’s in motion and she keeps everyone else stirred up. Suvi isn’t here tonight, though, since I left her at the vet clinic overnight to be spayed in the morning. That way I don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to take her in. That’s bedtime. :-)
Soooo ready for this!
You bet cha! I'm more than over summer! I just hope we have an autumn this year and don't go from summer to winter. Not ready for cold just yet.
Had to go out to look at the rain gauge. We've gotten .6 an inch today, giving us 2 inches yesterday total and today. Not too bad. They've had flooding in some parts of TN and a possible tornado this afternoon a little north of us. Glad we missed out on all of that!
Indeed, I’m ready for a slow, cool beautiful fall. Winter will come soon enough withour rushing things. LOL!
Gosh, nearly 3 inches of rain! That’s awesome!
Our thanks to both you and your Dad for your service to our country.
You take such good care of your kitties, so wonderful of you!
Good evening, radu...is it still hot? Do the beans need more rain?
I knew we had a rain storm rush through this afternoon, and the WIND is still here, but they say heavy rain and hail was here.
It is really blowing!!
A slow, cool, beautiful fall would be sooooooo nice. I’m not in any hurry for winter at all! I can handle being hot better than being cold.
Not sure what to expect this winter. The Old Farmer’s Almanac calls for above normal temps for most of the country this year. The Farmer’s Almanac says the opposite.
No, we got 2 inches total .... 1.4 inch yesterday and .6 today.
I try to take good care of them. Sometimes they make me want to give ‘em the boot but I love ‘em too much. LOL
Hey there, Kathy.
It’s finally cooled off a bit the past couple of days, much to our relief. Been wet too. No, the beans don’t need any more rain now .... they’re dead and drying up for harvest.
Sounds like y’all had a little yeeha up there. Must be a front moving through, like down here. There was a little lightning and thunder in the area but nothing wild. Other parts of TN had a rougher day though.
It’s breezy outside now and almost chilly. Feels kinda nice!
I wish the cams around Anchorage were livestream instead of just showing stills every minute or so. It would be neat to watch the clouds scuttle across the sky. There are some cool ones over the mountains.
It is gusting so hard the motion light on the deck keeps coming on.
Dang! You do have some hefty wind blowing.
ok, I pulled up the earth wind map and there’s a frontal line north of you and it’s sucking wind up to it from the south. Must be a hefty temperature difference on the two sides of the line. You’re on the warm side.
You are better than the local weather man....the wind settles down most all the way and then comes thru like a freight train. A very loud train!!
We appreciate your kind words.
