Their strategy up to this point is that we would never return fire on their tactics.

Yesterday they learned otherwise.

I’m wondering when they’re going to try to get a Federal judge to remove Kavanaugh under the Emoluments Clause of the 25th Amendment.

It’s worth a try, if all else fails.

The Regressive left continues their systematic deconstruction of our culture.

I can only hope that their desired standards are used on THEM OR MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILY some time in the near future.

No need to fear though, because some of us will still defend their sons and husbands.

> The purpose of this is to dissuade other good judges from being nominated. <

Good point. Any future potential SC nominee will have to think long and hard about accepting the nomination. Do I want to subject my family to great embarrassment based on something I * might * have said or done 30 years ago?

Of course this will only apply to Republican nominees.

It was help if a crime was proved. Maryland won’t touch this.

> A think a more probable outcome is if the D’s take the control the Congress and WH after 2020 they will pack the SCOTUS. <

I agree completely. It’s a little-known fact that Congress gets to set the number of Supreme Court seats. So under your scenario, the Dem’s could increase the number of seats to, say, 15. Then the Dem president could appoint 6 more justices.

In the old days, that would have been seen as unethical and dishonorable. Even FDR couldn’t get away with it. But now, hey, it’s just being part of the “resistance”.

As my 80 year old brother says to the TV every time he sees the Democrats go off the rails: Do what you gotta do, Hillary is still not going to be president!!!

This is how the Alinsky tactics of “win at any cost and any means” comes back to hurt the leftist cause... The worm always turns. If they are angry about Merrick Garland, they shouldn’t give Mitch McConnell all of the credit- they can thank Tom Daschle for the unprecedented move of filibustering a judicial nominee. If they are angry that Trump’s SCOTUS picks are sailing through, they can thank Harry Reid for employing the nuclear option. Now, with the latest low blow by Diane Feinstein, decent Americans are rightfully angry about the blatant unfairness of her actions. I predict it will result in a Red Wave and the re-election of Donald Trump, who will then be able to nominate 3 more SCOTOS judges. Thank you leftists, for being who you really are in the the age of Trump!

DIMs better be careful, setting that kind of precedent.

Schumer already admitted Reid made a mistake by using the nuclear option when Reid was Majority Leader.

Going after a sitting SCJ without strong EVIDENCE, and NOT some recently recovered repressed memories, could open the way for every justice to be under threat. That belies the separation of powers.

DIM leadership needs to shut this kind of HATE down immediately.

The effect of this shameful charade on the sitting justices will likely be long-lasting as well. Even RBG, in a recent interview before the Dems brought out these latest desperate smears, said that things had gone too far. You know the other justices are aghast at how all pretense of due process has been tossed aside in this confirmation.

This is a wake up call to the other eight that the rule of law is in the balance and they need to take their Constitutional responsibilities seriously. My guess is Kagan will be the first to realign as she has personal knowledge of Kavanaugh and must know how baseless this slander has been.

Trump will get a second supreme during his 8 years too

He then should put up that highly qualified female nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, and see the the stinking demo-rats slap her around.

Shades of “Hillary can still win. Here’s how....”

Yep. "We can stop Trump in the electoral college." "Impeach Trump and leave 0bama as President while it's being sorted out." And the perennial "Take the House, name Hillary as the Speaker, impeach both Trump and Pence and she's President." You have to wonder what the weather is like in Fantasyland.

I think that Ronn Blitzer’s comments are absolutely true. If the Democrats win the house, they will impeach Kavanaugh. But that is OK, because it will bring their house down. They will have pursued charges that are baseless and unprovable and will further demonstrate to the rest of the country that their beliefs are above the law.

The Arizona prosecutor who questioned Krazy Ford yesterday told the Republican caucus this: that the “case” was so flimsy, she could not have prosecuted Kavanaugh. She would not have even been able to even get an initial search warrant.

BOOM!!!

There is no honor among thieves....

There is no honor among dishonest Democrats.

Where is your credibility, your moral values, and again,

your honor? Do you not “feel” anything?

The Arizona prosecutor who questioned Krazy Ford said she could not have initiated a prosecution, and she would not have even been able to get an initial search warrant. The allegations are that flimsy, lacking in evidence, etc. The prosecutor told the GOP caucus this last night.

They can impeach for pretty much any reason that they want if they have control. The charges don’t have to be provable. The beauty of our system is that it is a two step process, and to convict requires a two thirds vote in the senate. The Democrats know this, so an impeachment would be for political purposes only. They picked the wrong fight on this one, in my opinion, because all of the veils have been removed. Their ugliness and true intents are now on full display. Graham was right when he said if we allow this to happen as a country, then we deserve what we get. Therefore, this is the election of a lifetime for our country. Better make sure that the right side wins, and that the Rule of Law is preserved.
