“Maybe he couldnt get Three Rivers Stadium and need to find another large space.”
You need a time machine to get Three Rivers Stadium. It was demolished in 2001 :-) .
The taxpayers were forced to buy two brand new playgrounds for the football and baseball circuses that replaced the 30ish year old facility that was “too old for modern use”.
“Casey is a complete doofus but that name is Golden in PA.”
Not as much as it used to be, but, yeah, you are right in general.
Casey is SOOOOOOOO frigging lazy ... if some kind of strategy is in place, now is the time to start attacking ... if Casey has to campaign at all, he *could* lose. He is *the* definition of an empty suit.
It frustrates me to no end that the GOPe let this race slip under the radar.
Do not forget - Trump is already running for President in 2020. He is making sure he gets a footprint in place. He is collecting data and building an army to crush his competition. The reason for going is his alone, he knows what he is doing.
Erie isn’t as deeply entrenched as Pitt or Philly - also right next to NY and Ohio. It’s on my “go see the family in Ohio and New York” tour route..
I was correctly schooled re the Erie venue further downthread from my initial post, and now agree it’s a good choice.
Another consideration is that the NW corner’s economy has benefitted greatly from Marcellus gas, which the Dhimmicrats/econazis would doubtless try to curtail or stop all together.
Thanks for the reply, and I hope the turnout is spectacular !
I hope so too - was able to attend the bookend victory rally he had in Mobile, AL after the election and was slated to go to Jackson, MS for the rally that was canceled due to Florence...I hate crowds but wanted to take the wife to one of his rallies...and we were tied up when he was able to reschedule for Southhaven.
There’ll be more, and likely in your vicinity .. long time til Nov’20 ;-)
Cheers
I have yet to see any evidence that there actually IS a Barletta campaign.
It looks to me as though the PA State GOP isn’t actually supporting any of the R candidates. Anyone on Barletta’s mailing list gets lots of info, but how many is that?
Erie did Just turn republican for the Trump 2016 race, firming it up is a good idea. Altoona/Johnstown area would be great for ME, but I don’t think it would get him more votes because he’s already got most of them.
I think that seat is winnable. If you believe the polls, Casey has been in the high 40s, low 50s. Barletta’s main problem seems to be name recognition, but he can still change that with 4 weeks to go.
Hope you’re right - want to attend at least one more and give my wife the chance to revel...
