Democrats are too drunk on hate to listen carefully, but it they ever get back on their meds long enough to study Collins’ speech, they might realize how destructive the Avenatti-Swetnik nonsense was to their cause. Collins’ analysis pivoted at that point, as she rejected the gang drug and rape ring allegation with contempt that colored the rest of her discussion. The dems jumped into bed with Avenatti and Swetnik and reaped the consequences.
Backfired? Looks like the Dems put a banana in their own tailpipe.

The left falls back on the same tactics over and over. I have come to the conclusion that if politicians are motivated by serving the people, they make their case to the people. If they are motivated by power, they resort to character assassination, intimidation, and eventually violence.

If you think of them as reasonable people, this article makes a lot of sense. That line of thinking will leave you completely surprised the next time they act out. When Ginsberg keels over, this is going to look like what it really was, warmup. It’s going to be much worse. The GOP needs to be ready for that. Their expected strategy will be to nominate a woman, thinking that the Democrats won’t attack a female nominee. LOL. I don’t disagree with nominating a woman, provided she has the correct judicial philosophy, but the Democrats will savage her. Conservatives will try the “See, Democrats are the real sexists” line. The outcome will depend on the guts of the GOP Senate. The least they could do is not be caught off-guard by it.

Isn't it amazing that the progressives pass laws allowing every perversion under the sun, and encourage such folks to come out of the closet and do things like "shout out your abortion?"
And yet they cast shame on college kids drinking beer and trying out grown-up activities.
They get away with it because many people are unable/unwilling to elevate logic (thinking) over their emotions.
