Don’t tell St. Paul he was wrong in his advice to Timothy (I Tim 5.23).
Less whine.
More wine.
Those glasses of wine or occasional few beers actually extends the lives of annoying libs and other morons I come into contact with. I guess it balances out.
How come these studies never point to something like cauliflower being bad for you or Brussel sprouts? Its always something people enjoy like coffee, chocolate, or wine.
Note that when countries are listed in order of longevity, France comes in 9th for both sexes, USA listed as 31.
List by the World Health Organization (2015)
Again, corrections welcome.
There’s no money or hysterical media in cauliflower or Brussels sprouts.
I read the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam just to find that quote. His quatrains were rather depressing; Khayyam apparently was an agnostic with no belief in an afterlife and he merely reflects upon the need to obtain as much pleasure from this life as possible because nothing will follow.
Anyway, I’m 70 next month & don’t give a rat’s patootie about these New Puritans and their prohibitionist demands. A drink or two in the evening settles my nerves from the day past & for the day to come. Retirement isn’t all fun and responsibility to others goes on.
These ascetic teetotalers can go bleep themselves. I’ll go whenever God says it’s time.

I thought the study was made for the money
Thats what I told the girls we were going to have for our date.
Except for the death part.
I was better looking back then.
As I got older, they wanted lobster.....and I could leave it on their front step.
They change their opinions more often than they change their underwear.
A study emphasizes idiocy if the researchers are idiots.
I’ve been taking a resveratrol supplement for years. It also boosts the immune system. It’s not magic but it can make a big difference for those who tend to get colds easy.
Maybe the results of these studies have more to do with the ‘quality’ of the wine.
I don’t notice anywhere that they state whether this was Boone’s Farm or a Cabernet Sauvignon.
If there was one scintilla of truth to this ‘study’, I’d have had the lid nailed onto my box 30 years ago.
Do muslims live longer than the rest of us? That is not counting those self-destructing for the virgins.
I feel sorry for people who don’t drink or do drugs. They’re going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital dying of nothing.
