my guess, because God didnt want scientists/people to be able to mess up His designs and plans for people, but some scientists/people press forward in their selfish pursuits.
It took a long, complex procedure, more akin to cloning than natural reproduction. We don’t have to worry about this becoming very common.
No matter what the scientists do, two men together, or two women together, are not going off in the woods and coming back ten months later with a child resulting from “reproduction” from the two of them. ALL science will be able to to do is to make possible by the application of artificial means and measures, in a laboratory, that which cannot be achieved without them.
