Actually, he beat this same type of cancer nine years ago, and it was public. In this area, folks knew he was sick, didn’t know why, but did know he had scaled back his schedule.
Nobody in the news was reporting it, maybe out of respect.
And there you have it.

He might not have been able to take it with him, but he apparently had some fun with it before he was gone. Unlike some, who live in their offices until they’re too old to enjoy their money.
Depends upon how dedicated she is to Democrat causes.

He was a gun-grabber. Most recently he donated $1MM to the latest gun-grabbing initiative in Washington state (I-1639)
Did he try to get Seattle and/or King County taxpayers to foot the bill for his funeral? He seemed to be good in that way in a lot of his projects.
For any ‘Columbo’ fans out there, here’s a fun P. Allen fact:
The filming location for the episode “Identity Crisis” (with Patrick McGoohan as a spy) was a beautiful mountaintop estate called ‘The Enchanted Hill’ at the end of Angelo Drive in the Hollywood Hills, built in the early 1920’s by Fred Thomson, a well known cowboy actor. It was later bought by Paul Allen in the late 1990s and Mr Allen promptly razed it to the ground in the early 2000’s. Never built anything on it, last I checked. Too bad; a beautiful estate.
