Yes, that’s different because they left their former occupations and formally entered politics. Current celebrities love to stand on the sidelines and bloviate. If they would stick to warm, fuzzy, charitable causes, then people would love them, but they are too stupid and too arrogant to do that. They really believe what they think matters.
Most celebrities are hypocrites and aren’t affected by the policies they support.
