He is not double-crossing them; he outmaneuverd them. Feinstein agreed to the schedule on behalf of the Democrat committee members. Schumer should have made it part of his agreement with McConnell that Grassley would postpone the scheduled hearings until after the recess in exchange for confirming the 15. The repubs are learning from President Trump what winning is.

Ha! You think they’ve lost their collective minds now? Just wait until Ruth Darth Bader Ginsburg goes belly up. There will be madness the likes of which has not been seen this side of the Gates of Hell. Heads will literally explode with apoplectic fury as SJW snowflakes fling themselves of the tops of buildings and Maxine Black Adder Waters and Diane Frankenstein will implode into singularities of Post Modernist, Marxist hysteria. Sleazy ambulance chasing shyster lawyers will be marching to the Capital building in battalions armed with every manner of libelous filth imaginable to fling at whoever the unfortunate nominee is. Bimbos, perverts and pimps will come OOZING out of the sewers in gleeful anticipation of a feeding frenzy. Mainstream Media shills will screech nonstop about everything and anything that Trump says, does or ostensibly even thinks. RINOs will cower in fear and loathing at the gruesome spectacle. Teeth will be gnashed and garments will be rent asunder.

Conservative women are just sooo much hotter than the pink pussy hat wearing feminazi liberal hags!

Pretty sure it's a prerequisite for feminazi's to be butt ugly. Maybe it's just how I view them...

As the old saying goes; beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes clear to the bone. Then again I've met some beautiful women who were beautiful clear to the bone as well.

“Ms. Rushing is drawing protests from liberal advocacy groups who say her résumé is too thin for an appeals court nominee. She clerked for Justice Clarence Thomas and Judge Neil M. Gorsuch”

That is more judicial experience than quite a few appeals court justices have had. And, that makes the claim that she is “inexperienced” an excuse.

(while researching that, I ran across Earl Warren. He was possibly the last “Progressive” Republican. Look him up in Wiki and you’ll the many of the fascist attitudes of the Progressives, including Eugenics. Warren was also a force behind the internment of Japanese and confiscation of their property in WWII, agreed to by his Progressive friends on the Democratic side.)

On occasion, Senator Feinstein has a reasonable thought or two, at least on national security. In the current political climate of California, she is considered centrist. Her antics during the Kavanaugh hearings were probably motivated by her wanting to appear relevant in the face of the challenger. Were I a California voter, I would vote for her opponent, who would further radicalize the Democrats. The more Leftist loonies they have in high visibility positions, the more they will alienate moderate and independent voters.

Normally I would agree with you but there is one other thing to consider. Feinstein is 85 years old and would be 91 by the end of her term if re-elected. Good chance she doesn’t make it that far. If CA can elect a republican governor this time around, yes I know that is a huge IF!!, the governor can appoint whoever they want to a vacant senate seat.

I thought the rules that apply were that they can’t hold those hearings while Congress is in session. And the 15 judges were set to go weeks before Kavanaugh, so their confirmation was delayed to go with Kavanaugh.

I can’t explain the rules, but you know what is happening (hearings being held) so evidently they can do it and for reference, here is Grassley’s letter to FeinSwine regarding the hearing date(s) which did not make her a happy camper:

Elections have consequences. It’s up to the Dems to SHOW UP AND THEY CAN VOTE up or down.
