Whoever is backing Cuomo, be it Bloomberg, Soros, etc. is paying good money right now to keep Cuomo’s name of such lists as these.

Remember Gary Hart?

He was the up-and-comer for the Democrats back in 1984.

It was actually his campaign that brought "yuppies" into the popular vernacular. Young Urban Professionals. The "Big Chill" generation, in which millions of progressive hippies got haircuts, showered, put on business suits, and proceeded to make a lot of money. Thanks in large part to the Reagan economy.

Interesting point. Dems are throwing an awful lot of money at him. If (when) he loses in a few weeks, wouldn't surprise me if he runs for dogcatcher somewhere in 2020 - just enough to keep his name in the paper - and set himself up for 2024. Particularly if Pres. Trump still looks like a steamroller in 2020.
